This is one of those photos that makes you think immediately... "Wish I was there". The undisturbed sand gives a sense of solitude. :toast:

Love the textures in the sand, and the slight warm sidelight. Great composition, and the aqua water is a nice contrast to the white sand. It does look very inviting and peaceful.

On the thumbnail I thought I was looking at snow. Nice sidelight, and the piece of driftwood balances and contrasts well with the grasses.

The wide angle creates nice depth and a wonderful sense of place with the sand, plant, ocean, and sky all in one frame. Technically, it feels that you could take this a bit further, Bill, though I can't really say what that might entail. My initial thoughts are to tone down the lightness in the ULC or maybe warm up the light just a bit more. However, this type of scene is quite foreign to me, so I'm mostly just thinking out loud here. One thing this image does is make me realize how beautiful those white beaches must be.

Very nice, Bill, but frankly i dont think it stands up to your high standards for these scenes. I like the fg subject, but the way it crosses the surf creates tension that feels out of place for this scene.

Bill, I enjoy the composition contrasting the cold and warm colors! Great details in the snow.

Wonderful shot, Bill. The snow-like look of the sand is crazy.

I can't get enough of your beach scenes. The white sand, the ripples, the warm light. It all conveys a lot of positive mood and feeling for me.

These sandy images are so clean Bill. The sky brightness is spot on.

I always enjoy your beach scenes so much, Bill. You capture a wonderful feel with these. Someday I have to come down there and make some tracks in that sand for you  .

A white sand beach with wind blown ripples. I've never seen either over here on the west coast. I sure like it though. I wish we had these wide shallow beaches up my way, but I'll take the sea stacks as an alternate. Nice!

Bill, I find this to be exquisite. The subtle light on the foreground ripples, the diagonal orientations of ripples/driftwood/grasses and the natural pastel color palate make this one I would have on my wall! Great work.

Hey Bill,
I'm always amazed at how much you get out of simple beach scenes! I think the subtle tones work here and as usual......you can take it in many directions! I think this works very well as presented!

You've got these kinds of beach shots down to a science. Comp, color and exposure look great top to bottom. No nits here... beautiful work!

Bill,

Yet another beautiful image from your FL coast! A wonderful coastal landscape for sure, but I also see an image within the image. I'm really loving not only the ripples in the sand, but also all the various shapes and lines of the little grasses - call 'em squigglies for lack of a better term. I could see the lower left quadrant as a stand alone image too. Or maybe you already thought of that?

Great work Bill.
