Wake Up Call

While we camped in Seward, AK every morning these two Eagles would show up a squawk and act a our alarm clock. The would perch in the top of the same tree every morning near our tents. I couldn't have asked for a better wake up call. The angle is a bit steep and the leaf in front of the rear bird beak is not the best, but this is the best image with eye contact from both birds.

Pretty nice detail Richard given all the branches and the angle you mention. That would be a special alarm clock!

Great place to be it sounds like to me. Looks like some tough light. Image looks a bit dark overall, but the heads are pretty bright. I would try and raise the overall exposure, but raise the head just a bit to keep the whites in line.

Richard,

Having these eagles act like your alarm clock would be special. I agree with Ron's evaluation and I would also suggest decreasing the blue channels saturation

Nice shot with both birds in focus, and the main subject sharp. Good eye contact too.
You might remove the leaves in front of the main subject at the left edge.
Well done :toast:

Hi Richard :wavey: Love the title and the text. Two heads are better than one, if that branch were not in the way  A marvelous souvenir from your camping expedition
