Semipalmated Plover - (Charadrius semipalmatus)

The choice, to post as is, with the various debris swept up on the beach or to go with a bird on the beach with nothing surrounding it. Guess it's all down to POV, however I like this version purely on the basis that it's more 'habitat' rather than the predictable 'bird on beach' and rather sterile.

Annoyed about clipping the razor clam.

MKIII 500f/4 1/500 f/9 ISO200 (FF, Wimberley head & pod)

Cracking angle Steve.

It looks like the camera was directly on the sand rather than on a pod and head.

Great details as always.

Cheers

Habitat is good, nothing wrong with the razors. In fact, I think you could have included a bit more (personal opinion only!). As is it seems a little 'unfinished'. POV and everything else is spot on.

An absolute cracker Stephen. The debris doesn't detract at all so I would say leave as is. Super stuff.

I love it. Clipping the razor isn't an issue for me. I'd try to tone down the bright blobs top left. Feather definition is superb. A head turn would have been a real bonus.

A great capture, it looks very lonely there all on it's own
Well done.

Very nice. The inclusion of the shell works well and the image is stronger for it.
