This is the partner image for my post in the Landscape gallery. I'll have time to post more info later.

This is awesome, Kent! A beautiful abstract with scale, action, and adventure! I love the motion in the axe too. Great work!

Gorgeous! The motion of the axe is the icing (pun intended) on the cake. :toast:

Marvelous image. The motion of the axe, the crampons in the ice, everything about this screams intensity and adventure. I love it.

I love that you posted this, I couldn't really get a scale from the ESS post. Great timing on this as well, the slight motion on the ice ax is quite nice. The layering is also very nice, especially having the climbers leg behind the foreground ice I think it adds to the depth of the image.

This is an excellent action shot, love the view point. The red of the boots, the green jacket and blue all look great together too. Your shot in the landscape gallery looks great too but I think I prefer this for the action.

Gary.

This puts your post on Landscape in perspective for me. Crazy, outrageous beauty, excellent abstract with a person in the middle of it all. Could be a macro view without your climbing partner. Excellent image Kent.
