I like how those barren winter alders look, and the high perspective from which you photographed this beautiful scene!

Daniel, your picture aptly reflects the atmosphere, I like the interplay of the mossy stones with the flowing water. Beautiful, natural colors.

I really like this image. The only thing is it seems to need a little rotation to the left to my eye. Maybe I am just cockeyed because no one else seems to see that.

Beautiful! I especially like the green mosses covering the rocks.

I agree with the others comments Daniel and will add that I like the choice of shutter speed. Gives the water motion without tooo much softness.

Makes me miss Oregon and look forward to both doing some tours coming up this spring here (Gorge, Hood, Bend and the coast) and my wife and I moving back before too long. Cool shot man. Appreciate the view! :toast:

That large version sure is sweet Daniel. It's amazing how much colour you have in this picture what with it being winter and all. The POV is cool I am just wondering if you need all that room at the top though. A sweet capture. Cheers

Daniel - The shutter speed seems perfect for me - just enough detail in the water. Everything seems tipping toward me too much for my tastes, for this type of subject. The mosses look grat, but too much of the background is a bit drab. Maybe due to the season out there.

Harry, the tipping "vertiginous" look was what I was striving for. Dan

No moving water around here --15F tonight.

Agree the shutter speed is spot on with beautiful movement, and wonderful color, but agree with Richard, seems to need a little left rotation.
Great work

Love the composition with a nice perspective looking straight up the river. The lines and placement of the alders really heightens the look of this perspective remarkably well. Excellent work.

Nice.

I might consider taking a smidge off the top, I think it would balance a bit better.
