Another bald eagle from BC but I really liked the fish. This is a yellow eyed rock fish and it caused a massive eagle game of catch the fish. It was great to watch!

Great shot Lindy. It would be nice to see a large version so I could see the fish a little better.

Your light looks good but you night have been able to get a little sharper with a faster shutter speed.

What a great experience that must have been. And you got an action shot too. I had to look up the yellow-eyed rock fish - an impressive catch. I like the comp here, but its hard to assess the detail without a larger image. My guess is that it would be a little soft due to the shutter speed.

Birds in flight usually require all the SS you can manage. If you increased the ISO to 400 and opened up your aperature to f/4 or 5.6, you should have been able to get in the neighborhood of 1/1000 sec.

I love that water background Lindy. Nice wing position and the prey certainly is eye catching. I agree with the suggestions on SS/ISO.
