Winter robin

I had noticed what seemed to me more robins than normal for winter. This was one of several feeding on the crabapples that had fallen from a tree in our backyard.

Great robin, John. He;s sure a messy eater but I guess that's habitat. The detail is sharp and I am absolutely envious of the sharpness of the snow with no blow-out Nicely done

Everything looks great from an exposure and sharpness standpoint. A catch light in the eye would have been great. Not always possible. :toast:

All the meal debris makes this a good study of winter survival for these birds John. Pretty tight for my tastes though.

John,

I think you handled the exposure of the snow well and I like the fallen crabapples and the color they add to the image. It does feel a bit tight to me and I thik the robin could use a bit more sharpening.
