Buzzard taking off

Last buzzard for this month. I've paused the project becauseit's just to warm. No birds for the last 4 days. Not even in a 2 mile radius of the hide. I'll just have to wait for cold weather or snow.

iso 400 1/3200 sec. f/4 full frame

An impressive image. The bits of flying debris are an added bonus. :toast:

Great take off shot . What a pity there wasn't more space around the bird. The bits of dislodged bark show up well in the big version.
Which lens by the way ? I had the 400 vr and virtually gave it away !

Superb. The ones I see taking off always head in the opposite direction from me. I love the head turn on this one.
