This is the last of this short series from a fascinating part of southern Switzerland.

Another fine image Julian! Very well put together. The fg works well and feels connected to the bg. The color contrasts are interesting too. Looks like this is the stick from the previous image?

Julian, a most interesting composition, the interruption and at the same time connection between foreground and background! The colors and motion of the water are outstanding.

Hey Julian,

Splendid image! The sharp edges of the rock and twilight light works so well together. I think it could be even stronger with a top crop eliminating the stick. Just my 2 cents,
Great job, I like this.

This is gorgeous, I love the deep, rich color here. The composition is also very intriguing, nice one.

Another fine intimate scene Julian. I like the mix of warm and cool light on the water. Wonderful texture in the steel gray rocks.

Love the color contrast between the stream bed and the grey rocks - the angle and composition of the rocks is superb.Any chance you could have removed the stick/limb in the top area? Physically or virtually?

Superb, Julian. The diagonals are wonderful, the color and textures in the rocks as well, and the touch of warm tones in the water contrasts nicely with the cooler tones.

Like the thumb of the and the enlarged version looks good too. The rocks really make a nice frame for the water.

This is wonderful, Julian. Your comp looks great and it is very interesting. I really like the warm reflected color with the other cooler colors. Very nice work!

Beautiful scene Julian. The only objection I have in this scene, is the branch invading the top of the scene.

Thanks, everyone for the kind comments!

Some dissenting voices about the branch! Well, nature isn't always as neat and tidy as we photographers would like. I couldn't shift it and cropping it out in camera would have upset the composition so I decided to leave it in. Nature isn't perfect. Live with it.

I like this very much and the more I look around it the more I like. I am starting to miss my 4x5 verticals and my Ebony SW.

Very nice, very beautiful, this set keeps getting stronger and stronger. Really what does leaving the stick in hurt the pic. Leave it in and deal with natures imperfections I say. The colour contrasts and the sensual lines is what does it for me in this pic . Cheers
