This was research for my new eBook for my continued quest to capture the icons at night......had to wait till 3am to have the place to myself!.....very surreal for "Old Faithful". f/4, 30 seconds

It's fascinating to see and hear the geysers at night, nice work here. I like the curves in the geyser steam.

Beautiful night-scape. I agree with Floris, that curve is so sensual!

Nicely done Roman. The arc of the geyser and the stars are wonderful. The bottom of the photo has a little visible color noise to maybe clean up, but that doesn't detract from the main interest of the image. Awesome!

Wow! Excellent result. The arc of the geyser still shows it's a geyser, which I think shouldn't have been easy. Nice work.

Very nice image Roman. The foreground and geyser have good detail without being overly bright and that curve is surreal.

Very cool night image of this geyser. I do like the light and shadows on the FG grasses, also. I think it would work even better if you darkened the sky some, but keeping the star light nice and bright. I also notice a very square-shaped vignette along the upper sides and top, which might look better if it was rounded out some.

Great catch! One of the more complementary scenes I've seen with a 'starscape'.
Was the foreground lit by the moon? It looks terrific to me!

cool image, definitely something I want to try someday. To me, the geyser looks like a hand reaching for the stars.

Neat concept. Interestingly, when I tilt my laptop screen I also see some black stars that are definitely part of the image. Not sure if that's the screen or the "dark matter" that the astronomers are all talking 'bout now, but it definitely adds a new dimension to the image.

Are you kidding me? This is incredible. What a great project you're on, Roman. If the results are consistent with this, it seems to me that the ebook should come after the gallery show/event!

Such a cool subject for night photography. This is surreal! I love the stars shining through the geyser plume and the small distant plumes in the distance.
