Another Barn Owl from a few weeks ago when I must have took hundreds of images of the barn owl.I have made it a mission of mine to really work on these beautiful creatures and shall be returning to hopefully get more in a few weeks time. Have lots of close ups showing lots of the detail but also like the more habitat shots to and thought this one shows the more delicate look that these birds have.

Karen, I like where you've placed the owl in the frame and enjoy the head-down hunting pose. You do a nice job with these wonderful birds and I like your enthusiasm for them.

I like it Karen he is hunting and you can see that. The techs look good and its sharp. I might crop just a little from the top and the bottom but thats a minor nit and I like as posted.

Love this Karen, particularly the misty feel and the clean lines of the bird against the background

Another great image Karen. I like that you went with the vertical presentation here. I think it adds to the drama and fits the downward looking pose. Excellent! :toast:

I always enjoy seeing the bird with more of their habitat in the image. I like the composition and how the background elements work around the owl, well done. These really are beautiful creatures.

I like the composition, the owls intent focus, and texture and tones of the habitat.

Really nice and dynamic! It gives you a sense of the environment and of the action in being. Though the bird is relatively small in the frame, it can be clearly admired in all its beauty. I have never had a chance to photograph one…
Well done! :wavey:

One of my favorite birds and such a beautiful picture! I love the space around the bird and the details on the bird are just perfect. A very nice misty feeling of the habitat :toast: :toast:
