Hidden Zion

Another image from the amazing fall colors in Zion this year. There are so many places in the park to explore on your own. This was a part of a hillside where I never saw another sole. Compression is a killer, down to 55 in quality, check out the larger version if you can!

Thanks!

Looks good, Justin. Foreground tree adds interest and contrast to the foreground.

Justin, I think even the larger version only gives an idea of your wonderful image. The composition is impressive with the foreground leading to the center of interest, the colors are delightful.

Justin,

This is really nice. Lots of detail here that would be beautiful in print. I'd like to see just a touch more space on the left. The color looks great.

Outstanding color. I agree about a touch more room on the left, but still an excellent shot.

Beautiful scene Justion, and great color! I love the composition with the barren limbs in th eFG. On my monitor it does appear oversharpened though.

It seems any image with lots of fine detail takes a beating when compresed to fit the NPN standard. Amazing amount of detail here. Looks like you found some peak foliage and peace and quiet to enjoy it! Everythings looks a little tilted to the left, perhaps this was a hill side? The FG branches look a bit too magenta on my monitor, not sure if that was your intention. A mural sized print would allow a view an endless journey through the image. :toast:
