Jackal cub

Something different, a young male jackal cub waiting just outside the den whilst Mum & Dad went off foraging. His sister was more shy, spending more time in the den.

Taken in the Mara.

Beautifully sharp, like all your work, I do wonder if it needs a very slight CCW rotation(1-2 degrees), otherwise a fine shot.

Thanks David. :wavey:

Ian I know what you mean, but it's where do you draw the line and does it warrant the removal? Certainly it would be cleaner as you say, however if it was shot with film then no option other than to spend say £150 with a retoucher and also make a 10x8 transparency too, ah the old days. Always feel free to be super picky , the additional bigger posting is great, not sure why some only post a fraction bigger with this facility?

Nice light and nice point of focus , grasses a little distracting but more than compensated for by the detail in the face

Very clean image,Grasses add to the shot and detail is excellent, your shots sell the region very well,if my wife could cope with the heat I would be very tempted to try and visit someday. :toast:
