Winter Flora Theme

Though not as minimalistic as my recent posts, I felt the wind gave these grasses a certain flow.

5d, 28-135mm w/macro, tripod, remote shutter release, conversion in CS3.

Comments and critiques always welcome, and thanks for looking,

Morris

I'd be sitting in front of this one in a gallery. Pure wu wei. Possibly my all time favorite of your images including your landscapes.

Very interesting find, Morris. I like it, particularly since the
grasses are angled.

This is gorgeous Morris! Love the angle of all the grass stems, and the soft shadows on the snow.

Terrific series you've been showing us. This may not have as minimalistic appearance as the others but it's just as appealing. Nice stuff.

Well done, Morris.

The grays and whites are quite appealing.

Was it the time of day? or did you convert this to B/W?

Cheers,

Carol

Carol, it was early morning, and yes, it is a b&w conversion. Sorry, I should have made that clear in the techs.

Morris, This is one of the best expressions of winter I have seen. Just took a peek at some of the previous posts, and they are very artful, but this one has just the right combination of of complexity and simplicity to interpret the winter grasslands for my taste.
