Christine Intimate

This is a view of the lower part of Christine Falls in MRNP taken a couple weeks ago. Not completely intimate but not the usual full frontal shot up the slot that we often see. If you're not familiar with this waterfall you can see the more iconic version in my gallery. Actually it's my first image posted on NPN. Yes a shameless self-promotion
Thanks for looking. Check out the larger version.

Beautiful Bruce. The texture and color of the rock is wonderful - a nice, rich color. Water motion is very niceas well.

Seems a hair dark and flat but a nice intimate.

An interesting comp--i like it, but something feels missing to me--perhaps the dark/flat that Paul mentions...not sure to be honest.

Beautiful details, Bruce -- especially in the fascinating water flow -- perfect shutter speed. This processing gives the impression that it was shot on a darkly overcast/rainy day.

I like the swirly pool and the way the water flows over the rock toward the bottom of the frame. It's a nice scene overall, though perhaps I'd like to see a wider angle view with more of the falls . . . I'll have to check out the full scene in your gallery.

This has a pleasing abstract quality to it. I could see a little more mid-tone contrast boost, but it looks very natural as is

Very interesting perspective. I think brightening up the water to eliminate some of the grayness would make it a nice focal point for the image.

I really like your com in this one. You show the complex structure of these falls very well. Different and cool.

A very interesting comp. it's a bit flat in my opinion. I like your choice of shutter speed.
