Just to show I am still active in a limited sort of way. Work and weather pinning me down at the moment. I am playing with some files I took last year for an alternative purpose - this was one, you may see more in the coming weeks.

LEO in Derbyshire.
The cause of quite a stir locally, was in the same field as 2 SEO's and a Barn Owl just before Last Xmas. It didn't stay long.
It was near dark so the ASA is up a wee bit.

500mm/Tpod
1600ASA/F4/80'
Simply cropped and adjusted in levels. It is nearly full width.

Fantastic contextual shot! :toast: I really like the vanishing fence line. Beautiful.

The high iso has made it a bit grainy in the large version, but still a great shot of a difficult species.

Nice work, Tom. I like the muted colours on this one, and I also like your choice of comp too.

A fine comp and capture . A very minor nit from me is the brighter fence posts off to the right which is a touch incongruent .

Two LEOs on the same page - I'm being spoiled. Lovely lead in and frame.
