I have these beautiful crocus blooming outside my front door every spring. I can't wait to see them this year--just the leaf stems are poking through the ground now.

EOS Canon Rebel T1i. 90mm macro lens at F/7.1 at 1/15 sec. ISO 200.

Carolyn: I am so jealous. Too warm around here to grow crocus. Wonderful POV and comp and a really good DOF choice. Very well done.>=))>

Hi Carolyn :wavey: I like how the detailed red center is flowing out, isolated from the rest of the soft bloom, superb lines and color.

Very nice, looks like sea coral. I like your choice for dof. Well done.

Electric! Fantastic color and great contrast between warm and cool. There are some very tiny specular highlites along the petal edges in the URC that I find a little distracting but that's a very minor point. Nice stuff!

That clear, sharp red in the middle of the soft purple is beautiful, and great light.

You DOF choice really created nice depth to this shot Carolyn! That combined with the colors and lines is superb!

This is excellent all the way around. The colors, POV, and DOF are all spot on for me. My MOST minor nit is the petal overlapping the orange center on the right. It's so small and not a big deal, but I think I must be in a picky mood today!
