Purple Flowers

I wanted to show the beauty of these flowers but the photo wasn't quite the way I envisioned them. So I changed the color of the bg, did some cloning, applied Topaz Simplify, a couple of filters from Photo Essentials 3, and the artistic sponge filter from PS Elements 9.

Definitely very artistic. The flowers are great and the color coordination with the background works very well. The slightly OOF elements near the left edge detract from the painterly effects.

Hmmmm... this is really growing on me! Not sure at first, but I now like it a lot.
I'd like to see a version with the sponge applied only to the flowers too, to add a bit of contrast with the nice BG.
