American Robin just before sun-up here in Central Texas. Shot during one of our recent & "rare" snowfall events.
F/6.3, 1/640th, ISO 640, 1D M3, 300mm f/2.8 + 1.4x ext around 7:30.
About 75% of FF.

Nice shot Howard, I like the pose and sharpness. I'm thinking this might have also looked good as a scenic shot by not cropping as tight and showing more of the wintery setting.

I like the setting and angle of the bird. I am wishing that you had gone up or down so that they edge of the bank wasn't intersecting the bird's head though.

An unusual image of this robin - I like it. Nice view of the bird; the diagonal of the water makes a nice composition.

I like the setting Howard, how the water creates a curved diagonal line through the comp, the eye contact, natural colors and the light.
