Saw this scene while trekking in central Illinois on a very foggy/raining evening..
I visualized the curves of the trees and the mist as an elaborate ballad performance of nature.. is the patten visible ?..comments/feedback appreciated... Thanks..

Shot with a

Sigma 70-300 apo

I find this style of shot very intriguing. I think the density of trees and the amount of twisting is perfectly selected to balance light with dark.

I like the echo of the strongly forked fg tree by the central bg tree. You can almost feel the rhythm in this image. Very well done

Wow, I love the mood here. The twisted shapes and shades of grey are fascinating. I'm curious where you shot this - I live in Arizona now but I'm from central Illinois. :toast:

Fantastic view Manoj, you've definitely found a pattern and tamed the chaos here. It's great to see so many different styles and individualism.

This scene was shot on a trail in Robinson park ( Peoria park district), Peoria....this was on top of the hill where the fog was at its thickest..

Very graphic and rhythmic. The "movement" of the trees and light are captivating and draw me into the scene.

Beautiful, ghostly image. I would take a tiny crop off the right side, so that you don't have that solid strip of black along the edge, but that is a minor nit. This is a pleasure to look at.

This is wonderful, Manoj. The reaching layered shapes create a sense of disquiet.

I had to comment on this before it got too late. This is fabulous. Wonderful, eerie and mysterious mood; a performance indeed. Excellent! No nits or suggestions.

Love how the lines make the image, the misty feel softening the lines adds a aura of mystery. Great seeing this.
