Morning in the mountain

This was taken last winter here in NZ. As we walked towards Cameron Hut we had the 4 seasons (rain, sun, snow and wind). It ended with a snowstorm and gale force winds. When we woke up in the morning the sky was clear and the sun was just point out in the peaks. What a lovely place to be.

I'm looking for suggestions on how to improve this (make foreground lighter). I'm not very good at ps so still learning my way around it. Honest comments and suggestions highly appreciated.

Sony XT5
Panoramic mode
f/4.5
handheld

thanks

I think Steve said it all. I can actually feel the chilled hush before the sun climbs above those peaks and washes out the deep vibrant blue of the dawn sky. Lovely image. Very nicely done.

Hi Beatriz - I too like this image as is. It is OK to have shadowy areas, and to me desirerable in some instances, like this one. It speaks of a cold dawn that is broken by the first light of morning. Only thing I wish for is a little more sky. Hope this helps.

Thank you all! Appreciate the comments and suggestions. Will try to add some sky to it, see what it looks like. And then who knows, maybe print it big?
