The Art of Wind

Like a master painter, hand of Wind draws such beautiful artwork, but instead of Oil, it uses only small tiny grains of sand, and instead of a canvas, it throws them gently, on our land for us to enjoy, and to remind us that Nature is like artist, to work best, we should leave it alone...no distraction, no interference.

I used my Nikon 80-200mm @ 200mm to compress these dunes, and I had to climb a high dune to get such perspective. Climbing that dune gave me also a 360 degree to shoot many different parts around this location with no movement...getting on top of high ground with high power zoom lens is a heavy work for my 16gb cards; an endless of photo opportunities.

C&C is welcome as always.

Nice texture and detail but seems it lacks depth. Without solid foreground and background objects it's tough.

I like the tonal range and scenery, personally I find the background much more appealing than the fg.

I see and interesting flow from foreground to background, and I like the subtle differences in textures along the way. The textures work particularly well in B&W.

Mohsen,

Although I think I've failed to comment on your previous two images, I wanted to tell you that I've enjoyed them - including this one. They are very similar in concept and I think will make a great collection. I also can't quite describe what I think about these, but I do know that it's positive. Broad landscape views that really feel intimate; repeating patterns and details. I find these last three very intriguing personally. Excellent work.
