Enchantment

Golden sunset light illuminates these rocks in the surf, almost making them look enchanted by a golden spell.

Taken at Elgol Harbor on the Isle of Skye, some truly differentiating light and weather conditions gave us a lot to play with.

Thanks for looking and c&c welcome! (please view large)

This really needs to be viewed large. Really nice detail and color. I might consider burning down the highlights on the bottom right rock a bit, especially along the edge of the image. It tends to pull my eye a little down and out. I like the scene, well done.

I really like the colors and light you caught in this shot. A very interesting image. Your comp also has nice balance to it.

The contrasts here are wonderful (between rock and water) Great eye to see and capture this. The highlights could be backed off a little but the overall image is a very nice.

I like the contrast between the well-textured rocks and the very soft water.

I really appreciate the softness of the blurred water together with the shapes of the rocks. You show very pleasant details that keep the attention.

I like it. It feels warm and cold at the same time. Interesting! Also, it feels hard (the rocks) and soft (the water) at the same time. It makes for a really interesting image. Nicely done.

I really like the different colors and textures in the rocks, but I wish the chosen shutter speed had been faster so it would have more texture as well.
