Another tern from Christmas where they were hammering bait fish close to the shore. I have plenty of clean shots with single birds but I liked the oof birds in the background here.

cheers

Rob, I like the OOF birds in the background. For me they add a sense of motion. A couple days ago I captured a shot of a Caspian Tern and I am excited that they will be back soon here.

I, too, like the bg birds. They seem to echo the main subject and IMO add a sense of mystery to the image. I like shots that evoke an emotional response in me as this one doew. Nicely done

I really like the context of the other birds in flock and the similar of wing positions. The main subject is very sharp too.

Nicely done. I also like the oof birds, but would consider cloning out the 4th piece of wing on the left. Sharon

Great! I tend to agree with Sharon about the bit of OOF bird.

Exposure and detail looks great Rob.
Like the OOF birds also..They add good interest to your comp.
I might consider cloning the single wingtip upper left if it was mine.
Well done! :toast:

I like the OOF birds in the image. Nice separation of the eye, which is tough to do in this specie.
