Starting to see the end of a long winter and longing for a little color. Here's one I finally got around to processing. Central New Hampshire fall.

What a lovely painterly reflection. The colors are amazingly pure.

Wow, thanks for posting something I don’t often see.
I agree this really does have a painterly feel, especially the green color in the bottom of the frame. The colors seem really pumped up and the texture looks like you used some sort of a conversion tool to make the photo look like a painting.

I like the artsy feel of this. Care to share your processing technique?

A beautiful work of Photo Art! This way it is not difficult to say goodbye to winter and frost.

Thanks for the comments folks. I appreciate them. Richard, really not a lot of processing here. Some levels and curves cleaning up the color a bit and a little selective dodge and burn, but no saturation bump. It was an incredible autumn. All the texture comes for a .5 second exposure on fairly slow moving water. I did take the liberty of flipping the image so the sky still appears as sky.

Scott.
Definitely one of the eye-catching images today. Totally different approach as the most usual, and loved the colors, composition, and light. The .5 sec exposure probably added a lot of art to the final result. Excellent!

Thanks for the explanation, Scott. You can bet I’ll be shooting for one of these someday.
What a great way to nab a shot when I’m not happy with the cloudless skies.

Like the abstract nature of this one - and the colors are eye catching as well. Just enough detail so I know what the forms are, but lack of sharpness adds to the impressionistic feeling. I wouldn't change a thing.

Beautiful, colorful reflection Scott. I too like the painterly effect of the reflection.
