Nice capture and details! Wouldn't mind seeing a little fill light on the yellow petals - (I always carry a small 12" collapsible white/soft gold reflector) Overall a nice image. Thanks for posting! - Vince

Toni, I really like the pastel colors and the textures. I agree with Vincent on the fill light. I also wonder if the image would look better if parts of it were more critically sharp -- or did you use a soft focus effect on purpose (when I say this, I am mindful that we are viewing on computer monitors and its often difficult to judge these details on a monitor). There is also something about the placement of the image in the frame that is vaguely unsettling to me.

Thanks guys! I don't know if I could have used fill here with a disc....as is I had to lean quite a bit over a fence in order to get this shot.

Andy..as for the comp...I could and should have left more in the foreground when I cropped the image. The more i look at it now, I have to agree with you and think that would solve the problem.

Just my thoughts, Toni. What is "art" about our hobby is that we each have different vision. Yours is always good -- so take my thoughts for what they are worth :-)
