Took this photo of red fox pups a few Spring seasons back. Used a Canon FTB with a Soligor 75-260mm zoom telephoto. Carefully moved
up on them belly to the ground-glad the grass was dry! Location:
Westwood Hills Nature Center,St. Louis Park,Minnesota.

Id like to see this a bit bigger--hard to evaluate at this small size. The foxes are totally cool--especially the mathcing poses that you got--like a mirror image! Very cool. Id crop as much of the sky as possible--its a distraction. And perhaps clone out the one OOF grass in the center--it also gets in the way of what otherwise is a great shot.

This is a good shot of those two fox pups. I don't care for the tall oof grass right in between them, but the rest of the foreground doesn't bother me. They are clearly concerned about your approach, but it looks like the mound of dirt is probably their den. Even if you'd scared them, you could sit up behind your tripod and wait and they would come back out to play in 15 - 20 minutes.

A cute capture of these fox kits Jeff, I agree the one OOF grass in the foreground between them is a distraction and would be better if cloned out. I like the alert curious pose and the natural environment that you caught them in. Would have been nice to at least see this at the 720 pixel size though.

Hi Jeff, I too wish you had posted a larger version of this, since it looks like a very compelling image! At this size however it is difficult to really appreciate and critique.
