Winter is finally winding down in northern New England. Still no color to be found, but I'm looking forward to the first little buds. Here's a couple from last spring that I reworked last night. C&C welcomed.

Scott: I don't recall you posting here before so welcome to the finest Flora gallery on the planet. Day lilies are one of my favorite subjects and I like pano/near pano crops in general and here in particular. I also like your DOF management and the toning in your conversion. Superbly crafted image. Great to have you aboard and looking forward to more. >=))>

A very nice bw conversion Scott. I just wish there was a little bit more space under the left flower. Nice work.

Welcome to the gallery Scott. A very nice conversion and I also like the composition. I probably would add a little canvas at the bottom and I might blur the bg at the top a little. Certainly no big deal on either though. I like this as posted. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

I really like the image. The point of view and the comp are really good. My personal preference would to see the image in color.

Hi everyone, thank you for the very nice comments. I do appreciate them. David, I agree it need a little breathing room below. Richard - I'll see if I can work up a color version.
I have been lurking around npn for a year or so. It really is the finest collection of galleries around (especially the flora gallery). The quality of images is often so high that it is a little intimidating and nerve wracking to post.
