South Texas the Martin Refuge (private ranch-birds were baited) on Mar 12, 2011.

Not too good at flight shots yet, but I'm working on it. Critique welcomed.

I love the different wing positions! The guy on the right looks really cool because he's just starting to lift off, and I love the wingspread of the one on the left! Very neat image!

I think you did fine with this flight shot. The birds didn't cooperate 100% or the two wouldn't overlap but they did give you a nice variety of wing positions. I would just love to see one of these in the wild.

Three Caracara at the same time. Now that's how to practice flight shooting. Love the different positions.

Dottie, Great capture of the action of THREE birds. At first I was going to suggest cloning out the branches and leaves on the left side, but after looking for a while, I kind of like them. I really enjoy this image.

I like this, Dottie. The birds and the perch form a nice ring formation. There is a lot of good detail here, especially in the fully spread tail. Nice job.

Sharon, the shot is great. The only nit i could find is the overlapping wings of the central and the leftmost fellow. Initially i thought it was a composition of three shots on the same photogram of on single bird taking off from the tree heading left.

Cheers ,Luca

Wonderful capture! I love the "circle" that seems to appear with the birds in flight combined with the tree branch.
