Well not really yet, here in the northeast. I took this a few years ago..... so what more speaks of spring than pussy willows and rain? The name I gave this in April 2008 was Alien Earth Probe since it reminded me of that (not that I have ever seen one or anything like that......).

BTW - I saw the first robin today so spring can't be too far off. Right? Please say yes!

Canon 40D
Canon EF 180mm f/3.5
ISO200 1/30sec f/11
Hoya Polarizer

Thanks for looking and for your comments and critiques.

Wow, pussy willow catkins that look like they were frosted last night, but are melting now and then you add in an imaging drop. Very nicely captured.

Georgeous! I usually go on a snowshoe hike the first day of "calendar" spring, but this is indeed a sign of REAL spring! One of the prettiest pussy willow images I have ever seen. The warm light comming through some of the drops looks delicious.

Wow, the detail in the larger version is amazing, especially in the water drop. Nice job!

Your image is really refreshing, Eva, and at least for me a unique view! The details are georgeous, as well as the separation from the background. I might wish a bit more space at the left, only a small matter. Thanks for sharing!

Love the detail in the water drops and reflections here!
Awesome!
Seems just a little high in the frame to me..

wow--the detail here is just exquisite, Eva! Very nice. So nice im gonna post something in M&N tommorow. Critique: I know you were limited here by your lens (a good reason to sell a kidney and pick up the 60mm macro) but i couldnt help but notice that while this shot is awesome/extremely cool, if you could have gotten a shot of just the lower most blossom to fill the frame, it would have been mind-blowingly mega-insane-photo-of-the-year awesome.
