Here is #4 of my Gerbera series. I'm not sure the comp is that good but I was drawn to this small, curled petal. It is another view of the Gerbera bunch. Next I'll show the whole family. I've really enjoyed working these guys.

Comments and critiques welcome.

Steve: Oh this is really good. I love these little petals on gerberas and you've captured this one superbly. I like the lighting and colors. A bit more DOF on the center would suit me a little better but this works as is. Nice shot, even nicer series. >=))>

Ditto Bill's comment Steve and I'll add that I really like that big swirl of a petal. Very fine work for my tastes.

Steve:
I really like the curve petal here. I am wondering whether a 90 degree CW rotation may work better??

My fairytale wish for this one is a little more DOF down to the base of the petal and a little smoothing of the shadow created by this awesome curve. That is me at my pickiest, so take it for what it's worth! Beautiful curve, orientation and comp!

Beautiful work Steve..I think the comp is fine with the single curved petal taking center stage :toast: :toast:
