Adder (Male)
Its that time again. This one is really flattened out to get as much heat from the weak sun.

Nice one John.
When I lived in the south I'd always look forward to seeing these in feb/mar time.
P.S. You forgot to trim the smaller version.(Proves I'm looking at it properly).

Nice image of this snake, John, with great detail in the larger version.

a very natural looking adder image John, shows the patterns and camouflage off very well. Interesting how it has flattened itself.

I've still never seen an Adder!

Brill, I will have to keep my eyes open from now on, there are a few around here. Interesting shot of it flattening.

Still waiting for my first one of the year - the weather round here so far this spring has not been conducive to them basking. In the meanwhile this is a great shot to whet my appetite.

Well captured John
I saw my first one of the year yesterday while out walking the dog, it was a small one only about 2 feet long.
Luckily it was a bit cold and facing away from the dog so no harm done.
I of course didn't have a camera with me at the time

Well done.

Geoff.
