Highland rainforest, Tasmania, Australia. Winter afternoon, the mist came into the forest late. Racing to make an image in the fading light!

Wonderful image! Excellent composition and beautiful palette. The color combination reminds me of the redwood forests of the California coast.

Makes me feel like I am in the middle of the forest. Nice lines and separation in the trees.

I really like the light emanating from the forest, the colors, and the textures of the trees and mosses in this. The sharpness and detail in the large version works better. Your comp also brings an excellent order to the forest. Very well done!

Wonderful color and comp. I love how you placed the trees.

The placement of the trees works very well. The light is also nice . . . perhaps a little strong in parts, but overall this feels quite natural and pleasant.

I instantly thought of the Ents from LotR when I saw this. I find the trees quite appealing. The bare ground less so, but not sure what could be done about that.

Beautiful light! I'm glad you were able to capture this on 4x5. The tonality and detail must be amazing in print.

You did a nice job of finding a strong comp in a forest, which is always hard to do. I do with the blank spot in the LRC wasn't there, but overall it's a good image.

Gorgeous trees and forest! My only nit is the lower right corner. Maybe a crop from the right, and slighty off the bottom could reduce that area some.
