One of the geese coming in to feed on flooded farmland. Unfortunatly it's in pretty heavy moult.

These are such prehistoric looking geese Rob and the molt adds that feeling. Nice flight position with just enough eye to make this work well for me. Nice exposure on a tough subject. I would love to see these birds in their natural habitat some day.

Really sharp and clear, great on both blacks and whites. I like the slight banking position.

I agree with Ron about the prehistoric look of this bird. Nice wing position and light, and the exposure is handled beautifully Rob.

It may be a scruffy looking fellow, but these photos have value for showing stages of molt, which is poorly understood for many species. I like it a lot, nice flight angle and a good view of the flight feathers.

Poor guy looks worn, but a real nice image tech wise. LIke the head and eye, nicely pronounced.

I like this approaching view of the goose. I'm thinking that the use of camo and hiding like this has earned you an opportunity I doubt you would achieve without such stealth. Your hard work paid off. Techs look very good as well.
