Snail kite with snail

Getting tired of snail kites yet? Well, this species is being cooperative at the moment, so that is what I have to post. Here is another bird with a snail and some salad to go along with it. I like the snail and vege, it really makes the image for me. I do like the bird too and I feel you can still see the nice hooked beak very well even though it is in front of the wing. Added canvas on left and top. Please view the larger version for max details. Thanks for looking.

Ron, Great capture. Beak is well seen, and the snail and "salad ingredients" add significantly to the image.
Well done.

Cheers,

Carol

Keep 'em coming, Ron. I had a go at them lately, but not enough reach for detail like you're getting.
I esp like this one carrying lunch. Fab mage.

Super shot Ron. I could wish that we didn't have the alignment merger between the wing and the head but that is a nit on a true beauty. I love the added grasses she is carying with the snail.

Excellent flight shot Ron. The detail on the larger image is great and I always like the directional light that you choose, really lights up the bird so we can see those wonderful feather details and eye contact. This looks like a beautiful bird, well done.
