My long hiatus from shooting appears to be over--finally!
If I ever see another pile of files to put away or another box, it would be far too soon.
The last couple of days I've spent a few hours at the Ethel M. Chocolate Factory and Cactus garden. I've been re-learning how to shoot and working on patience as I waited for the hummers. Getting focus on tiny birds, especially while the wind is whistling 'tain't an easy task, and I had lots of fun chatting with folks.
Shooting with a 500mm lens draws many, many comments
This particular image was shot @ f/5, 1/1600s, ISO 250, matrix metering, manual exposure.
Like David, I posted a totally different version on Avian--
Spring--In Full Force.
Needless to say, I'll be back out there soon, but think I'll wait for a day with no wind.
Thanks for looking and comments are more than welcome.

Good to see you are back.
Looks like you used the wind to good effect with the swaying twigs. You nailed the hummer
