Can you add(er) a link to a larger version so we can review your processing better as it's a little small to comment on specifics as posted. Processing looks about right though.
Nice composition - I'd like to see more space on top but I'm odd like that!

Simon

Oh, and shame on the seventy odd people who have looked at this and not bothered commenting

interesting to see the milky eye which makes the shot perhaps more interesting but maybe less attractive. Comp looks OK to me but could also work with the snake in the lower third. Nicely taken.

Hi Simon thanks for the crit :) i'll have a play with more room at the top of the frame, i took a little from top and bottom to make it pano so theres room to play with. I'll post a larger version too

Hi Matt, shame about the miky eye, caught them just as they were starting to shed their skin and apparently it covers the eye too?

Will have a play with sitting the snake in the lower third.

Thanks both of you for taking the time to comment and leave feedback, much appreciated :)

I like this eye level image a lot. Excellent and complimentary back ground.

With regard to all the views and not so many comments that seems about par for the course on here at the moment. Everyone must be out taking masterpieces to post later

Well, I don't think it's the best shot you took Andy, but it makes for an interesting image.

BG and FG mush work well, as does the pano crop, and the comp is ok too - all in all it looks like you've got the most out of the shot considering the dull conditions.

I too would like to see a bigger version - the instructions on the image upload page are easy enough to follow sunshine!

Get that macro lens bought - you'll use it more than you think :wavey:

Your probably right Andy, need to work through them and find the stronger shots. I want to do some more macro work for sure. I really enjoyed it on saturday, i'll be getting a macro lens in May, need to decide on the 180 or 150 sigma :)
