Windy Day

Hi all,

This picture I picked in windy day, I can't see well at that time coz the dust enter into my eyes. It was windy but very dramatic location to take pictures.

I hope you like the picture and your C&C is Required. :toast:

Well taken and composed. The B/W version is somewhat static, and I wonder if (as fond as I am of B/W) the color version might show more of what has to be a dramatic moment.

I like this too Abdulmajeed, the trees stand out beautifully against the lighter background. Looks a great place to shoot.

I'll agree with the other comments on the quality of the composition. This is a very striking shot that conveys the windy conditions quite well. I like the B&W conversion and suspect it's more powerful than a color rendition of the scene.

A powerful and consistent composition, especially the formation of the clouds adds a lot to the dynamic of the weather condition. Fine processing and excellent b&w conversion.

Well seen and composed. I like the B+W - it adds drama to an already-poswerful scene.
Nice!

Very nice, Abdulmajeed. I like the placement of the three main trees, which sit very well in relation the shape of the clouds. The b/w conversion looks good and I like the dark sky. You've captured the drama of the storm very well.

I really like the black and white presentation and think it is very effective in conveying the mood of the image. Beautiful composition as well.

Excellent repetition with the trees, and the B&W certainly plays up the drama. I like it!

I like this a lot. It's very dramatic in that it portays the struggle of life against the weather. The composition works for me, and the tones look very nice.

i like this - though i might have preferred a less contrasty sky that would have accentuated the trees (i.e., not using the red filter effect - rather a blue or green would have reduced contrast dramatically and the emphasis would have been strongly on the trees and atmospherics. all in my humble opinion though and others may differ ...

Abdulmajeed,

Even though the trees are pretty still (from the fast shutter speed) the dusty landscape really does give the impression of blowing sand, dust and even in hospitable conditions. And to me, the clarity of the sky and clouds in the upper portion of the image almost make it seem like you could breath up there.

Excellent composition with the placement of the trees. I like this quite a lot. No nitpicks or suggestions.

This landscape does not look inviting when you took your shot. You captured the wind and drama well.
