I like the light and pretty much everything about this duck. Are the more or less horizontal reeds an image killer? All feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Nice capture in some great light, Barbara! The water droplets on the duck are a nice touch. I don't mind the horizontal reed as it is well oof and does not overlap with the duck. I think the image needs a slight cw rotation, though. Congrats on getting this one!

Great color and very nice detail in the duck. Maybe just a lower angle.

Excellent image quality - lots of detail in the plumage, good exposure, natural colors.

The vertical reeds and their reflection are fine and provide nice habitat without distracting IMO.

I agree about a slight CW rotation. I'd also prefer the duck higher in the frame here as the large space above the duck doesn't balance well with the small space below it, at least for me.

Good exposure and nice detail in this gal. I wish the lower of the two crossing reeds wasn't there. It does pull my eye even though well OOF. I'd be inclined to agree on the slight rotation correction.

The lighting and detail is excellent here Barbara, in that respect probably your best avian post. However she does look like she's about to go over the falls so it needs quite a bit of cw rotation. :toast:

Excellent detail, Barbara. Very nice lighting and a great look at the beautiful brown tones in this ring-necked duck. The horizontal reeds do not bother me. It does need some clockwise rotation and if you have it, I think a bit more room on the bottom would be nice.

Barbara, I'm in agreement with all the other comments here. detail is excellent, light is good, exposure right on, setting works just fine for me--no issue with the reeds. I agree with the need for clockwise rotation and for proportionally some more room on the bottom.

Nice one, Barbara. You've got a good low angle and the reeds provide a very pleasing and photogenic background. I might crop some of the right to move him out of the middle.

Great image quality Barbara. Love your processing of this image. My only suggestion is to do the CW rotation as others have mentioned. Reeds in BG are really nice IMO. Well done overall.

A lovely capture Barbara. Natural colors and great detail, and the background works well. Agree with the CW correction-easily remedied. :toast:
