This picture was taken on a beautiful winter day at an outlet sluice in the South-west of Holland. There's nearly always movement in the water there, so I was very pleased with a smooth sea for a short period that day. This Grey Seal was very curious and regularly surfaced in my vicinity.
Nikon D300s @ 500mm, iso 200, 1/320 sec, F9 on a beanbag.

Hi Sandra,

I really like this type of head shot, placement within the frame looks spot on and the lighting looks very nice. Cracking seal shot if you ask me.
