I like the reed reflections and the circles in the water. I also like the fact that this female Ring-necked Duck is low in the water because she's been diving for food.

Barbara I really like the reflections in the back and the water drops on the back of the duck.

Nice light and placement in frame. The vegetation reflections add a nice touch. I assume from the wake that the mate was in front of her. Very sharp, although the large version looks a touch oversharpened to me.

Great water and reeds, and the half-submerged pose and water drops add a lot of interest.
Nice!

Nice and sharp, Barbara. The water droplets and sharp eye both add interest. I like the colors and reflections in the image and the nice light. The large version has lots of detail, but I agree with Ken - you can lose one round of sharpening.

One suggestion I have is to place the duck a little further up the frame for a more balanced comp.

Congrats on a very nice image! :toast:

Looks like Ron's gear works for you, Barbara. The comments so far are good ones about comp, etc. But I like the colors, and detail and glassy water.

I'd say you nailed it Barbara. :toast: It looks good to me. I can see what Govind was leaning toward on the comp, but it works fine for me as it is. The reflections keep it unified.
