Today is the first day of spring turkey season in Texas but this guy wasn't worried about my white gun. He stepped out of the woods right in front of me.

A good photo of Tom in his home. Something happened in the processing—there is an unhealthy blue cast, most pronounced in the neck and head. Should be easily correctable.

Thanks for looking Phil, The only thing I did in post was a small s curve for contrast so I'm not sure about the blue cast. My Peterson field says that the normal blue tint of the head is intensified during mating display. Hopefully we'll have some other comments. Thanks for looking.

You are correct as far as the head is concerned. From "All About Birds" (Cornell.edu):
"During spring display, forehead white, face bright blue, neck scarlet."
