Another shot from my trip to Ysperklamm in Lower Austria last weekend. A different view and technique, this time on Velvia.

Mamiya super 23 with Sekor 100mm/3.5, f/11, 1s, Fujichrome Velvia 50 (rollfilm 120, 6x9cm)

I like this Peter. Wonderful mix of greens and amber colored leaves. Only a suggestion, but I would burn down some of the highlights in the water motion but just slightly in the upper half of the image. Hope that helps.

Having been in a gorge myself today I can still smell the forest when I look at this one. I like the comp with all the rocks framing the center. The blues of the water are too strong for my taste (and I like blues in the water) - I would turn them down. Otherwise another nice promotion for this gorge - moving up on my list.

Peter,

I really like this image, the viewpoint you've captured and the nice balance of rocks and rushing water. I do think this is a tad dark and heavy in the contrast. More noticable to me is the blue/purple textured highlights in the water. The color is off a bit in the water and I would pull back on that if you can. The very far end of the stream with the blue/purple water and clipped highlight look a little overprocessed to my eye. I just realized this is Velvia and now I also understand you have the scanning stage, so you might look at both the scanning and processing parts of this image. I think it's certainly worth working on this one.

I like this quite a bit, Peter. looks like a great place to spend alot of time making photos. I agree with the others on the blue being a little strong, but other than that it is a wonderful picture and I enjoy it very much!
