This is my first entry to this gallery but I have followed a suggestion of a fellow NPNer. Soo here are my eleven duckies counting mom or if you count the teeny little head near moms neck we have 11 ducklings.

Great entry for the WC !
Love the water and ripples, and the comp is perfect for the "11".
VERY tough to get so many in good profile, especially the first two! Good timing !

Wonderful shot Cheryl, great DOF on this cute family. I prefer this one over your pano comp.
The National Wildlife contest has a new category for 2011, this would be perfect for it.
Well done! :toast:

I was going to submit a very similar photo of a mother canada goose and her 10 goslings (11 total). I like your image better, however. :toast:

This is wonderful. I like the placement of the ducks in the frame - with enough room to swim a little further into the photo. The rich colors are just wonderful - especially the reflected light on the water. The pretty greens and the touch of blue add a really fresh feeling. Beautiful shot!

Such an endearing family shot, Cheryl, and a very charming entry for this challenge. I like the close crowding here and the way the first two ducklings are cutting in front of the mother. The water color is a perfect match to the color of the ducks too. :toast:
