Tidepool Abstract.

I was going through some old work in LR to eliminate clutter when I came upon a very muddy raw file. I started to play with it, making big tweaks with the clarity, contrast, vibrance, and individual color sliders and this is the result. It was taken during low tide at Point Lobos in 2008. I'll post the original below.

Canon EOS 40D; 1/5 @ f/18; 185mm; ISO 100; 70-200 f/2.8L; tripod; cable release.

Craig, I think the result is really, really nice. I love the vibrant colors, and I think you somehow stayed true to the textures while making them so much more substantive.

Wonderful abstract! Great colors, comp, and appeal!
The dark area on the lower left pulls my eye a bit, so you might consider lightening it up a little.

Nice abstract, Craig. Don't believe I would have associated it with water at all; comes across more as rock/lichen to me. The colors and other treatments sure dressed it up - big tweaks indeed.
