Hello,

This is the first time I have posted to this Gallery and I am new to NPN.

Prossesed using Lightroom and Nik HDR
ISO 200
f14 1/10s using a Tripod.

Thanks for taking a look and letting me know what you think.

Hi - welcome!
I love old barns, and this is a beauty. I like your perspective, the light cover of snow, and the overcast skies.
I'd personally like to see a little more detail in the bright areas of the snow, and a bit of framing or drop-shadow to separate the lower part of the image from the NPN white BG.
Nice image - looking forward to more of your work !

Very cool perspective and I really like the monochomatic look of this.

Cindy, I like the graphic quality of your image! The high contrast works well, and I especially appreciate the wooden texture of the barn. I could imagine cropping a bit at the bottom, but this might be purely a matter of opinion. The photo could use a dark background, I think.

Welcome to NPN and thanks for sharing!

Hi Cindy. Nice scene and I like old barns too, especially the texture of the wood.. I just wish there was a little more detail in the foreground snow. I just started fooling around with NIK HDR software myself (I have not posted anything here but have using Photomatix Pro 4 for the few images when I do use HDR.. Have you tried some of the options to decrease contrast, etc.? The mid ground looks wonderful. The foreground needs a lot more detail and the sky a little more detail..... but that is just my opinion.

I did use Viveza 2 on the FG but it did not seem to do much. It started to look like dirty snow. That was FRESH snow. It had just got done snowing. So there is not much detail. You can hardly see the path. That was a 7 exposure HDR. Yes, I have used Photomatrix. I have used that since 2008 but I seem to like Nik better.

I'll try playing with it again.
Thanks for your commnets!
