Oooh, I really like this Wayne. This really strikes home with me - I love this time of day in the swamp, where a light fog/haze is still hanging in the air and before the heat becomes unbearable. I love the light here, and how my eye is drawn down the canal.

Wayne, this image is just pure magic, wonderful light and ethereal feel. You almost expect some fairy tale creature to walk into the image at any moment!

I will add my cuddos to this image. Just a great image. I can feel the atmosphere of the swamp. The light is just great.

Very interesting shot Wayne....it's so Everglades! I might be tempted to crop a hair off the right side. I really love the golden colors and lily pads. I wish the whole picture was sharp from front-to-back, but not a deal killer. I like this just fine!

Great ambiance and subdued colors.
Nice vetical lines woth contrasting horizontal make DOF pleasing.
Backlighting oaf the tree edge and verticl leaves very evident on larger version.
Well seen.

The light on the spanish moss and the tree on the right is spectacular. I also like the gold in the water and how the canal "fades" into the distance. I'd like to see more contrast between the branches on the left and the moss (or maybe not see those branches at all). It really is a golden moment.

Wayne, excellent capture! It gives me a very magical feeling. I do appreciate the composition (though I would perhaps crop a tiny bit from RHS). The colours are enchanting. Sorry, not much critique from me :)

Wonderful lighting and very appealing composition, Wayne. I find it interesting to see where you have the tree in this image: it's placed far enough to the RHS to not be the central subject of the shot but not so far as to really frame the shot. Rather it sort of points us down the canal. I like it very much as posted. :toast:

Love this, Wayne. The light and atmosphere bring the Everglades alive! The shallow DOF works just fine for me here.
