Yesterday in the Danube Floodplains in Lower Austria. Spring is finally overcoming the last colors of winter.

Gorgeous color combination. I wish more water was included as the reflection is so nice.

I like the fresh greens and how they stick out next to the grass. The comp is OK but I think I bit more of the water might have been better, especially as the reflections seem to be very nice.

Peter, This is really a pretty scene to me. I enjoy the feeling I have looking at this. The colors are very nice and the reflection looks wonderful. A little more of it would have been nice, but I do like it as it is too. Nice work.

Very pleasant scene. Contrasting colors and diagonal element creates a lot of interest.

Beautiful scene Peter. I like the bit of reflection on the bottom as well as the burnt yellows and vibrant spring greens.

I love the fresh/young greens of the trees.....nice color contrast. i would also love to see more water....the reflections is really beautiful here.

Hi Peter, thanks for the update on the state of the Danube Floodlands. I will be in Vienna for Easter and might check it out. Good to know there's something to be found. I really like the upper half, nothing beats the fresh greens of spring in some appealing light. But I also agree with Andreas on the lower part. I think some more balance could be achieved with more room at the bottom.

Lovely colors in the upper part of the scene and in the reflection. I agree that including more of the water in the image would balance the composition better. Still a very lovely image.
