Seabrook Island Sunrise

Taken the summer of 2006 on a Seabrook Island, SC beach. I balanced myself and tripod on top of a 3 1/2" wide wooden railing of a seating area on the beach to get some separation between the fence and the surf. Balancing isn't one of my better skills so I kind of liked the results.

What an absolutely gorgeous image Wayne! I love the different shades of pink in the sky against the shades of gray in the sand. Just beautiful. :toast:

Where the heck is this in Kansas???? Beautiful shot Wayne. Excellent comp (good balancing!), and gorgeous color. Well done.

Wonderful coastal sunrise Wayne. I love the yellow glow on the water and of course the sand dunes. Beautiful beach scene.

I'd say this result was worth the balancing act!! Super nice image Wayne!

The panorama works perfectly for this shot. I love the subtle tones and the wonderful depth - from the smooth dunes in the foreground, to the hazy horizon line in the distance. The bright sun - and the reflected light on the clouds and water - is a real attention-grabber. Great, moody shot, Wayne!

I think it's a well balanced comp, like the fence RT on the diagonal pointing us to the sun
Simple, effective, and inviting Wayne. I like this a lot! :toast:
Have a great weekend!
