Although the color's warm in this, it was a pretty cold day on the beach. I like the sand ripples, sea oats, and water.

LARGER version available for better detail.

1/125 @ f/11 - MLU and mc-30 remote release

Very, very nice, Bill. I love those tall grasses bending in the breeze, the great foreground textures in the sand, the gorgeous sunglow, and the warm light throughout. :toast:

Gorgeous - beautiful light, great SS, wonderful sand texture and the bits of grass for interest add a lot.
Great entry!

Bill, the colors in the sky give us a hint that it was not a summer evening, and I appreciate the warming colors counterpointing an icy atmosphere. The backlit ripples are shown at their best together with the delicate grasses. Great work!

Sheesh, Bill! I was still trying to recover from your white sandscape! This is outstanding. So much to appreciate and just soak in here. Even the beautiful shadows being cast off the grass add interest and perspective. The detail and techs throughout are outstanding. Just a stunning image!

Beautiful warm light. Viewing this I get the sense of the sand carrying me up to meet the sunrise. Another beauty Bill!

Love the golden glow that permeates the picture. In spite of your claim that it was cold, this makes me want to be there watching the sun set and listening to the wave.

The depth in this shot is fantastic, Bill. The grey in the sky seems a little out of place to me - but the light in the rest of the image is perfect. Very nice!

Wonderful light and textures. A stunning image. Not sure what is to the right of the sun, but perhaps it should be cloned out.

Bill I am new here so not the most qualified to crique, how ever could not pass this phot by without commenting.to me it's a stunning shot, that conveys the coming of warmth, though you say it was cold. The composition I find very appealing. Thank you for sharing it with us.
